4EB Ethnic Community Radio

PBA-FM enables a diversity of interests to have a voice in the public life of our community. We provide a forum for many voices at a time when increasing numbers of people in the community may feel excluded or limited in their capacity to take part in the social, cultural and political life of their community and country. Programming at PBA-FM is as diverse as our community and we encourage diverse, fresh, innovative and entertaining programmes. We have more than 20 non-English speaking programs and many varied music programs to suit all styles and tastes. Many local community groups, ethnic, religious and special interest groups also broadcast their own programmes on PBA-FM.

4BC is a radio station in Brisbane, Queensland on 1116 kHz AM. 4BC is Brisbane's only commercial talkback station and uses the promotional phrase "News Talk 1116". The station's broadcasting facility is at Cannon Hill, and its tower is alongside the Gateway Motorway in Nudgee.

Radio 3ZZZ is the largest ethnic community station in Australia. Located at 92.3 on the FM radio band, 3ZZZ started broadcasting on a regular basis in June 1989. Working from studios in the Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy, the station is heard across the Melbourne metropolitan region, as far as Geelong to the west and Macedon to the north. Broadcasting 24 hours a day, it is estimated that more than 400,000 people listen to 3ZZZ every week. Since October 2000, the station can also be heard across all Australia and the rest of the world through internet broadcasting.

World Radio Switzerland (WRS) is the only mainstream English-language radio station in Switzerland and the Swiss partner of the BBC. Broadcasting since 1996, the radio station and its digital platforms are the premier resources for the international and English-speaking communities across the country. 24/7 programming includes live shows, BBC World Service, local contributors, competitions, Events, and top US and UK music hits. We are Brisbane’s Youth Community Radio Broadcaster providing opportunities to young people and students seeking experience in the media industry. Our volunteers are of all ages and abilities, who develop great self-esteem and communication skills whilst also serving the community. We provide engaging and empowering opportunities for young volunteers and prepare them for future career opportunities in media and business. Over the years, Brisbane’s Youth Radio has seen a number of its volunteers go on to both commercial television and radio positions all around the country such as with the ABC, Southern Cross Austereo, Nova Entertainment and Channel 7 just to name a few.
