Nothing like Edge Radio has existed before in Hobart. We provide a progressive, interactive community service that has been available in other Australian capital cities for decades. After a 4 week trial period in August 2002, Edge was awarded a permanent community radio licence in Dec 2002. We then commenced permanent broadcast in Feb 2003.Edge is committed to enhancing Hobart’s culture by providing a credible, not-for-profit service that fills a void in Hobart’s airwaves. As Hobart’s only youth focused community station, we provide a mix of arts, music, entertainment, local journalistic content and information to enhance Hobart’s cultural landscape. Edge broadcasts to the greater Hobart area on 99.3fm, and webstreams globally on www.edgeradio.org.au/listen.php.

3MDR mountain district radio 97.1fm is a community broadcaster based east of Melbourne in the forest covered mountains of the Dandenongs. We broadcast 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Our programming includes music, live performances, news and lifestyle, talk-back and local community arts and culture. We have specialist music programs that play everything from metal, blues, country, folk and hip-hop. MDR has a high Australian music content and supports independent artists.

Established in 1980 and licensed in 1989, One FM is now one of regional Australia's largest community radio stations catering to the Goulburn and Murray Valley regions with "live" and local content 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.We are dedicated to the promotion of music artists from all genres and support a diverse range of multicultural on air programming, providing specialist programming from health to parliamentary issues and produce weekly sports programs which cover all sports in the region.Widely regarded as the voice of sport in country Victoria, our multi award winning country football broadcasting team are dedicated to the continual promotion of Australia's most loved National game.Providing a diverse range of programs which give equal access of the airwaves to both announcers and listeners creates an active broadcasting medium successfully catering to the needs of those listeners not adequately serviced by mainstream media.
