90.1 NBC FM was first started as Sydney's first full time suburban community radio station. The station started on the 6th May 1983 and is on air 24 hours a day. The station is operated by over 100 volunteers and features three on air studios, a dubbing studio and a comprehensive music library.

Northside Broadcasting Co-operative (2NSB) is a community radio station based in Chatswood, north of Sydney. Playing more music you can't hear anywhere else, music that is not played on other radio stations. More local news, views and matters of local interest. In 2013 FM99.3 celebrated its 30th anniversary.

2SSR 99.7 FM is operated by Sutherland Shire Community Radio Association Inc. which was formed in 1984 as a non profit, non political and non sectarian community radio, with a range of specialist music programs such as Jazz, Classical, Country, Irish, Brass Bands as well as programs in Maori, Macedonian, Italian, Mandarin and Cantonese.
